Having just 2 owners since new, this ’66 Ford Fairlane GT is claimed to be in original condition and a true Barn Find. The 390 V8 has been spiced up and is backed by a 4 speed gearbox. Looking to be a very clean and straight example, this Fairlane is currently bid up to $7,359 with the reserve not met. Find it here on ebay out of Corvallis, Oregon.

The heart of this Fairlane GT is a 390 cubic inch V8 that is claimed to be the original unit, but has seen some upgrades over time. The Engine bay looks nice, and there are plenty of nice things to look at under the hood. The dual quad intake setup grabs your attention, along with the various chrome, and other bits. With a wide array of upgrades, this Fairlane looks like a joy to drive.

The interior looks surprisingly clean and original, with only a few auxiliary gauges added overtime.  The seats look nice, though they look they could stand a solid cleaning from a steam cleaner. The interior doesn’t look to suffer from sun fade or much damage. The driver seat is ripped and we are guessing that over time the headliner fell and was removed. Install a headliner, and repair the drivers seat, and you will have a very nice original interior. The body of this Fairlane looks great, and is almost hard to believe that it wears original paint.  The paint, chrome, and trim look fantastic, giving a flawless appearance.

This Ford Fairlane Gt is in awesome condition , and is likely a ball to drive.  We wonder what will be the final hammer price for this Fairlane. There is a “Buy-it-now” option for $17,950, but it is difficult to predict what may transpire. So what do you think this Fairlane will sell for?
